Cooperation with the Warsaw Rising Museum
We are pleased to announce our cooperation with the Warsaw Rising Museum and the preparation of application documentation for the project entitled ‘ Digitisation and development of the collections of the Warsaw Rising Museum through an advanced multifunctional digital platform’. This project has been submitted to the call for applications under the European Funds for Digital Development 2021-2027 programme, Measure 2.3 “Digital accessibility and reuse of information”.
The aim of Measure 2.3 is to improve the accessibility of public sector resources, including cultural institutions, by digitising them and making them available in the form of open data or e-services. Support can be obtained, among others, for the digitisation of museum, archive and audiovisual collections, as well as for the implementation of tools enabling their reuse for educational, scientific or commercial purposes.
The scope of our cooperation with the Warsaw Uprising Museum includes, among other things, preparation of a description of the assumptions of the IT Project, development of a grant application with the required attachments, including the development of a feasibility study with a financial analysis.
The project aims to protect and digitally preserve unique collections, as well as to disseminate historical knowledge and increase access to cultural resources in a modern, functional and digitally accessible form.
Thanks to the new digital platform, users such as teachers, students, historians, researchers and the general public will gain intuitive access to unique source materials, exhibitions and educational content, which will be available from any place and device, in line with the principles of digital accessibility.
It is also worth noting that the current EU perspective places particular emphasis on digital accessibility of projects. Digital accessibility is a complex, multifaceted requirement that involves various elements of a project and requires the involvement of many specialists, from interface designers to IT system architects to content authors. All projects prepared, by our team of experts, meet these requirements. They are adapted to the needs of people with disabilities and comply with the principles of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Charter of Fundamental Rights, equal opportunities and non-discrimination.
It is worth mentioning that the Centre for Digital Poland Projects announces the launch of further calls under the Priority FERC.02 ‘Advanced digital services’, in which one of the criteria will be precisely the compliance of projects with the principles of digital accessibility.
We encourage all public administration units and institutions performing public tasks that plan to develop e-services to contact us. We will be happy to share our knowledge and experience and prepare complete application documentation that meets the formal and substantive requirements of EU programmes.
