Intelligent District Heating System at LPEC S.A.

Despite the approaching vacations, we are not slowing down! We have started cooperation with Lubelskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej S.A., for which we are preparing the application documentation necessary to submit an application for funding under the priority program "Digitalization of District Heating Networks". This project is co-financed by European funds as part of the implementation of the project co-financed by the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment.

The main objective of implementing the Intelligent District Heating System (ISC) at LPEC S.A. is to automate and optimize the way the system works, understood as maximally unmanned and technically and economically efficient fulfillment of quantitative and qualitative requirements of heat supply. Financial benefits result directly from the reduction of transmission losses, but also from the reduction of unexpected failures or early suppression of their effects.

The basis for the operation of the ISC will be a BI (business intelligence) class application, equipped with an extensive visualization module, connected online with selected control points of the actual network.

Our main tasks are to prepare:

• Feasibility Study in accordance with the "Instructions for the preparation of a Feasibility Study for a project seeking co-financing from National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) funds";
• Ex-ante audit;
• Environmental and technical annex;
• Financial model of the project in accordance with the requirements specified by NFOŚiGW;
• Application for financing using the platform Generator of Applications for Financing to the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
