The Kronik@ 2.0 project at the Ministry of Digital Affairs

Our previous experience in preparing documentation for calls for proposals financed by the FERC programme has enabled us to once again cooperate with the Ministry of Digital Affairs. We are very pleased to have another opportunity to develop a feasibility study that will enable the implementation of a project that will bring such broad benefits to the general public. This time, our team of experts is tackling the topic of the Kronik@ 2.0 project, whose objectives include:

  • increasing the number of entities involved in sharing resources on the Kronik@ portal,
  • increasing the number of digitally shared cultural and scientific objects available to every user with the possibility of their reuse,
  • expanding the KRONIK@ portal with functionalities that improve its usability, make it easier to upload resources and enable more accurate searches.

The project plans to integrate thirteen source systems containing data on museum exhibits, archives, etc. In addition to purchasing the infrastructure and software necessary to achieve the objectives, a series of information and promotional activities are planned, as well as training activities that will contribute to the effective implementation of the project. The expected results will significantly increase the accessibility of cultural resources and secure millions of exhibits that make up Kronik@ 2.0 by preserving them in digital form. The importance of this project for the future of culture is a tremendous motivation for us, which is why we hope to once again successfully complete our cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Affairs.
